Role: Photographer

Problem: Course assignment to experiment with different concepts of lighting.

Insight: Lighting tells stories by telling us what to pay attention to or what to ignore. It also creates different shapes and shadows. Good lighting evokes emotion and tells a story.

Solution: My group focused on side lighting, back lighting, and short lighting. The pictures we finished with have a dark theme that give the shoot an ominous feel. We also chose a plain white wall as our background so the lighting itself would be prominent.
