Role: Graphic Designer

Problem: Create a work with the message of love.

Insight: I made this after hearing the president of my university speak at the last gathering of the academic year. His words, “now love”, were instructions in prayer to those leaving to enter the world in their professions.

Solution: Love is what makes all the difference in any field so I made this poster. I wanted the colors bold and brave like love is sometimes so I went with an electric blue for the background.

The red words created a strong contrast against the background. Love stands out in the world.

The shadow coming from the words is to show how love comes from our experiences which can bring us forward in life but also have the power to take us back. This element is left somewhat ambiguous for each viewers experience of moving love.
