Role: Graphic Designer
Problem: Course assignment to create an advertisement including a poster and a carousel social media post.
Insight: People are drawn to what is familiar. Women shop more than men and take the lead in browsing decisions in home buying.
Solution: Going off the idea that people hold affinity for what is familiar, I created a relevant addition to the popular saying, ‘love thy neighbor’. I also chose colors, fonts, and shapes that would attract women as they are more likely to look for homes to consider than men.
For the social media posts, I showed the most common reasons people move to a certain area or home to highlight why this house was worth seeing.
